I've always found it super difficult to choose a mascara or find one that really works so I've finally decided to do a quick little post now I've narrowed it down to these little beauties!

Maybelline Great Lash

I've been using this mascara since I was about 14 and it still makes it way into my shopping bag every so often. I wouldn't say it does much for volume, but for adding length to your lashes its a must have. I use this especially when I'm just doing a simple, no fuss winged eyeliner. I think extra long lashes really compliments it

Clinique High Impact Mascara

| know this isn't so much 'budget beauty' but I have to say I've never actually bought one! My mum loves Clinique and she always gets these lovely little minis when it's bonus time and I seem to always get my hands on them. All this aside, although this is quite expensive in its full size, considering the amazing mascaras that you can get on the high street, this is probably my all time favourite mascara for both colour, length and volume

Maybelline Rocket Volum'

I've only recently got this but I absolutely love it. I hate how late I am with the hypes all over the blogging world but I'm glad I've finally listened and got this little beauty. I'd compare this to 'they're real' by benefit it really gives a false lash effect. Well personally on me, it really did look like I was wearing (natural) lashes! Love love love it

Benefit They're Real

Now I'm sure this one isn't a shock..everyone just loves it! Its a great mascara, does what it says on the tin! It gives my lashes an amazing black colour with loads of length and volume! Although again, this mascara is VERY expensive..this is defiantly one for the cheeky christmas list!

First off, let's ignore the mountains growing on my chin, nobody's perfect!
I've gone through my lipstick collection and found the lipsticks that are either my all time favourites, or simply my favourites at the moment! I tried to pick one that would cover as many lipstick colours and tones as I could, however obviously I am limited to the colours that I have which I find suit my skin tone best!

Bold Pink: Rimmel Apocalips in Apocoliptic
Pin up Red: Rimmel Apocalips in Big Bang
Dusty Everyday Pink: Rimmel Lasting Finish in Have Fun!
Berry: Elf Mineral Moisturising Lip Balm in Berry
Everyday Pink: Rimmel Apocalips in Celestial
Lilac/Pink: L'oreal Caresse Lipstick in Rock N' Mauve
Dark Plum: Accessorize Lipstick in Passionate

Now..How to find the right colour for YOU

Personally, I think fair skins suit, pinky/red tones. Warmer toned lipsticks will warm up your skin tone and won't wash you out! On me, for my pale skin I hate nudes, they really don't do anything for me! I also love dark reds, red/blushy pinks, bright pinks and berry/plummy tones.

Medium skin..I'd go for medium pinks, corals, reds, and orangey pinks, bright pinks and nudes. For medium skins I think its the best of both words as both cold and warmed tones lipsticks look great

Olive skin..I'd go for colder toned lipsticks (blue toned) dark rose tones, blue based reds, mauve toned colours, and nude based reds

Dark skin..Brownish reds, dark fushias and golden undertones, maybe even nudes if you want to switch it up a bit!

But all said and done, wear whatever makes you happy and what you feel comfortable in! Let me know what you think!

I'm really loving these colours. I think wine/berry colours are perfect for autumn! Think this post has decided that I definitely need to invest in a wine coloured blazer and some leather look leggins!

Rings (pack of 4): £7.99
Top: £12.99
Leggins: £12.99
Shoes: £15.99
Blazer: £24.99

Firstly H&M is my all time FAVOURITE shop so I'm very much considering buying this entire outfit after my birthday! These boots for me are a must have. I'd add my gold Casio watch to this outfit for a little something extra!

Earrings: £1.99 (four pairs in a set)
Hair clips: £1.99 (pack of two)
Necklace: £7.99
Cable Knit Jumper £14.99
Jeans: £14.99
Boots: £24.99

What are your autumn/fall fashion picks from H&M

I love sleek as a brand, which surprised me when I realised I haven't actually tried any of their blushes! And I have to say they are really really lovely. This colour is a bit of a shocker but I think I can just pull it off as I'm quite pale anyway and rosy reds and pinks are the colours which I think suit me best! The texture of the blush is really smooth and creamy, I couldn't quite believe how much colour pay off you get with these little beauties, the colour that is in the pan, really is the colour that you will get on your face, which for me is a must have.
The value for money is great as the colour pay off in this blush could really match up to my collection of clinique and benefit blushes! I could this particular blush from Superdrug for around £4 something. But obviously you can get them from the Sleek website where you can see all the colours they have too!
I can't wait to try out some more. I might treat myself to some more of these and maybe one of their trio blush sets soon too!
Have you tried any of the sleek blushes?

Now I know this doesn't really fit in with my normal drugstore and budget beauty hypes and loves that I post on here, but I really wouldn't blog about something so expensive that I personally wouldn't buy myself..but since I have, I can justify posting about it! My mum has used this for years so I finally got over the price of it and splurged on it, and I have to say I'm very impressed! However..very naughtily (considering her daughter plans on being a MUA) my mum has been using this in the wrong places for years! I showed her where and where not to put it specifically and it has made a difference to the effect that the highlighter on her face.

Which is something I want to stress, this isn't a concealer, it's a highlighter. Although I use it to brighten up my eyes, I don't apply it as a concealer for my under eye circles, for this 9/10 I'll be using collection's lasting perfection concealer in a peachy tone!

Now it's time to get fancy with a face chart...
Places where you should be putting Touche Eclat to ensure it really works..Obviously this is my personal preference and you can choose which of these places would work best for you.

1. Under the brow bone to highlight the brows
2. Feather the highlighter on the main part of your forehead
3. Inner corner of the eye, as close to the tear duct as you would normally put your eye highlight or as close as you feel comfortable

4. Down the bridge of your nose (the side of the nose is optional, I personally just like putting it here)
5. On the top of your cheek bones, this highlights the eyes!

6. The cupids bow and down the side of your lips.. something which looks great when you're wearing a pop of colour on your lips

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in SO LONG.. I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, I've sadly gone back to sixth form after my relaxing and care free summer!
But anyway, I've got some spare time at the moment and I shall make lots more to get some reviews done as I've bought so much recently and have so much to show you all!

Firstly, this summer has completely killed my hair. My hair is getting pretty long now and it's always been ooober thick, so this in itself is a problem! But since I went on holiday this summer and I was swimming in the sea everyday, my hair has gotten so heat damaged, dry and frizzy..which doesn't help my tangle situation that I already get with my thick hair.

I actually saw the Dove Nourishing Oil Care collection on a one of Miss Budget Beauty's videos so I bought it on a whim and thought I would give it a try, and I must say I'm very very impressed!

It claims to "repair hair to a cellular level" which obviously I can't comment as I don't have a microscope but it really feels like its doing something right. My hair feels smoother, the dryness has began to fade, my hair is stronger the frizz has decreased AND it smells A.M.A.Z.I.N.G; exactly what my hair needed after a summer of hot weather and parties! The only thing with the set that I dislike is how the shampoo is much bigger than the conditioner, I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a rip off but I like using a lot of conditioner, maybe it's just me. BUT the intense repair conditioner which I am also yet to try is the same price as the shampoo..so maybe this will solve my problem, I'll have to let you know!

I think I'm going to try the anti frizz serum next and see if the whole range lives up to the standard that they set with their shampoo and conditioner!

In superdrug I have found that the entire range of Nourishing Oil Care products are £1.49, bargain if you ask me.
You can find them all online here
Let me know your thoughts on this too!

For me, the classic pin up girl look is an every day go to look for a bit of glam! Although I love creating loads of different makeup looks this is a definite favourite of mine. I'm not doing a crazy long post about this as I'm not sure everyone would want to see one, but I've found some little pictures of my favourite things to create the look with (and of course, all nice prices that will keep our piggy banks happy!)

1. Ardell False Lashes- Demi Wispies 120 (these are my favourite lashes ever..)
2. Rimmel Apocolips in 'Big Bang'
3. Sleek Single Blush in 'Flushed'
With these two I find you have to be really careful when you're mixing your lipstick and your blush, if I ever wear a red, I'll keep my blush a 'flushed' red tone to compliment VERY sparingly! If you find a redish toned blush is too much just add a little bronzer to the hollows of your cheeks, again sparingly.
4. Collection Extreme 24 hour felt tip eyeliner in Black- perfect for making those stable pin up girl wings
5. Sleek Brow kit in Light
6. Soap and Glory Highlighter. I sometimes keep this look completely matte (true to the original look) however sometimes I add some highlighter simply because I prefer my skin to have a glowing finish

And que the cringey selfie with the finished product!
If you would like to see how I created the look please let me know and I'd be more than happy to do a little pictorial!
