This week my favourite products are pretty much all makeup, surprise, surprise... but there are a few little other things thrown in. AND a £3 primer that you'd all be silly to not buy and try out for yourself, I'll be popping a review up of it later in the week! I'll also be popping a review on sometime soon of my new face cream, holy moly it's good!

But this week the products I've been loving are:
Smoothing light reflecting face primer, Wilkos
MAC Velvet Teddy matte lipstick
Arbonne FC5 day lotion
Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation
Palmers Coco Butter
and finally, Aussie deep repair conditioner

On my quest for the perfect 90's lip, I have finally found it!

I can't believe I have only just got round to trying Kiko Products, I'm so impressed with the stuff I have tried so far, I can't believe how cheap the brand is. They really are on to something good, especially with their lip products.
Velvet Teddy from MAC
It's a matte lipstick, which for me is great because it's super opaque and long wearing. If a matte finish is too drying for you, or just isn't your thing, MAC Viva Glam 5 is a great pick too, and my favourite!

So the first things first, the perfect 90's lip (in my opinion) is a pretty muted brown/nude lip, think Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Aniston in friends and you're there!
I think a brown nude suits both fair and darker complexions, and humble brag but I love it on me! I'm a mac lipstick fiend but I know they are pretty pricey...so if Mac isn't quite within your budget or if Velvet Teddy is out of stock as usual, here are some other suggestions:
MAC Viva Glam 5
Clinique Bamboo Pink
Kiko 300 lip liner worn alone with a bit of lip balm on top of prevent it from being super drying
Kiko Rosy Beige (which are on sale at the moment!)
Rimmel Colour Show off in 'Have fun'

These two are possibly my holy grail face duo, I love them! Paired together I get amazing coverage, and a gorgeous demi-matte finish (sorry blogger talk...not too matte, but not too dewy, natural!)
The great thing with Mac, particularly for us pale gals, is that the shade range is incredible and really is true to colour. For me, Mac foundations are pretty untouchable.

So, for the foundation, the coverage is medium to begin with, I really wouldn't say it was sheer... but it is defiantly build able, for me I like a pretty full coverage, so this works really well for me. I really think you would struggle to make this foundation look cakey too, I've rarely found it to be a problem in that aspect. The best thing about this foundation for me is the longevity of it. It really does last all day. I would honestly say Mac are telling the truth with their 15 hour promise with this one. Which is perfect for me, as a makeup artist (soon to be professional!) it's so important for my makeup to stay on and look good, my face is literally a walking advertisement for my skill set.
Rating: 5/5...go get on the pro long wear hype!

Last but not least, the concealer. Man this is GOOD. The coverage is the best I've found from anywhere. It is full, full coverage. Great under the eyes and on blemishes, I personally prefer this for blemishes and it can crease under the eyes, but that can be sorted by just setting your under eye makeup really well. The colour is a true match, which is super important for me. It lasts pretty damn well too. The pigmentation of this concealer is awesome, meaning a little goes a long way. As I'm building up my kit, I want this in every colour!

Hey lovelies hope you're all well!

But I'm finally super excited to let all of you know the winner to my 1000 follower giveaway! Now to be honest with you I've had a bit of trouble with this, the winners at the start that were randomly selected, after checking through you all, I noticed that most people hadn't actually met the criteria that the giveaway asked, IE: Didn't follow me etc. So alas, I had to keep doing it all over again. Autumn is my favorite season without a doubt, I love the fashion, the layering, the weather, the long chilly walks on crunchy leaves, the colours, cups of tea, apple crumble, halloween, bonfire night, and of course my birthday! Not forgetting the lush candles and new costa releases (typical blogger comment...)

But most of all, I love the makeup, here's a selection of the eyeshadows I can see myself wearing during the next few months, handily picked from only 2 palettes, Urban Decay Naked Palette, and Sleek's Vintage Romance 141, which sadly I have lost the clear protective film that comes with the palette telling me all their names, but you'll get the gist of it! I really highly recommend Sleek Eyeshadows, their shadows have such a gorgeous silk, creamy feel to them, have great pigmentation and very affordable!

Urban Decay: Sidecar
Sleek Vintage Romance (Deep Plum with Shimmer)
Urban Decay: Toasted (My all time love)
Urban Decay: Hustle
Urban Decay: Smog
Sleek Vintage Romance (Matte Warm Brown)

Sleek Vintage Romance (Shimmer Deep Pink)
Sleek Vintage Romance (Shimmer Rose Gold)

The smell of the mask is really inviting as it smells super fresh and minty, pretty much exactly like aero mint chocolate bubbles, which for me is fab. I've used the mask on two occasions now, at first it made my face feel really, really cold, I wouldn't really recommend this as a face mask to 'relax' to; it wasn't a stinging or unpleasant feeling on my skin, it was just very odd and cold, even colder when I washed it off with water...but maybe that's just something I'm getting! The mask is a nice exfoliant too.

Once I'd washed the mask off, oh hot damn...my skin has never felt so soft, clean and literally (excuse the pun) minty fresh! I really have noticed a difference in my skin, it's been clearing up blemish wise, and its overall appearance has improved, my pores appear smaller as all the crap has been cleaned out of them, and my skin looks and feels brighter.

If you're looking for a seriously good face mask for clearing up problematic skin, then give this a go. Being from Lush all the ingredients are super good for your skin, if you don't mind a really minty smell and a rather cold sensation on your face, I seriously think you'll love this magic mask
Pros: Actually improves skin/blemishes within first use
Gives a really fresh, clean feeling
Leaves skin feelings as soft as a babies bottom

Cons: If you're looking for a mask that makes you feel like you've stuck your face in a freezer, this ones for you!
