Maybe I'm super late to knowing this, but Asda do their own range of skin care!? I bought this on a whim as I went in looking for my tried and trusted Garnier Micellar water; however I spotted this and thought I'd give it a whirl as it was super cheap!

The first night I used this, I wasn't balled over. I'm so used to my Garnier water melting my makeup off in seconds, but this did need a little more work, and I found myself scrubbing my eyes to try and remove my mascara. It did a pretty good job of removing my face makeup, but I wasn't balled over.

I used it the second night however, and gave it more time and I was pretty impressed this time! I held the cotton pad over my eyes for about 10/15 seconds and discovered that it needs that time to really get into your makeup, and when I was a little more patient with it, it did a great job! Overall, it does what it says on the tin, for a really good price. It didn't string my eyes or my face at all, so I'd agree that it's gentle and great for sensitive skin. As for the multi vitamins, I'm not too sure the benefits and effects of those, but overall it's a nice product!

I think my favourite way to use this is going to be as a quick and easy cleanse in the morning before I put my makeup on, as so far that's been working great. I'm interested in trying more from Asda's own range if I can get my hands on some!

Let me know what you think if you've tried anything!

Dupe Alert

I've been using Rimmel Stay Matte for a long long time now, since I was about 13/14, as I'm sure all of you know, its fab...but I think I've found something better!
The new(ish) Maybelline 24hr Stay Powder is seriously, seriously good. Amazing coverage for a powder, comparable to Studio Fix Powder from Mac, not so great range of colours, but brilliant staying powder and shine control. I can go out in the morning and my face makeup looks pretty much perfect when I get home. This stuff is great in the t-zone or all over if you want really full coverage that will last all day, this powder literally makes me look like a doll when I wear it all over I love it! Because of its great coverage, do be aware its not a very 'natural' looking powder, I would say it does feel heavier on the skin than Rimmel Stay Matte but for me, that feeling stops bothering me when all my makeup sets. I'm currently using Mac Pro Longwear Foundation and when paired with this powder, I'm good to go!

I'm currently using Mac Studio Fix Fluid as my foundation which I LOVE, however on the Mac website I was matched to Studio Sculpt as my 'perfect' foundation...which to me, is a perfectly rational excuse to want it right? On my post recent mac order (post to follow!) I was given a sample of the prep+prim skin base, and I love love love it!

I've been wanting to try the studio fix powder for yonks now, I've always been a fan of Rimmel stay matte, but the actual product never seems to last me that long, so I might have to give this a go first!

Now for blushers, I'm a huge fan of both the benefit box blushers and Sleek blushers, Pixie Pink actually looks really similar to Benefit's bella bamba to me, so I think I'm going to give the Sleek blushers a try first and see if it looks as soon on my face as it does in the pan; especially since the Benefit blushers are £23 a pop!...Does this call for  a dupes post if all goes well?! I think Sleek has to be one of my favourite drugstore makeup brands, their blushers are defiantly one of my favourites, and the quality of them far out weights how little you pay for them, such good value for money!

Whats on your recent makeup wish list, I'd love for you to let me know down below!
Hope you're all feeling lovely,

I received this little package in this month's glossy box..woopiee!
I vaguely remember trying a body scrub from this brand before so I can't really claim myself to be a massive fan, but I was super impressed with these under eye patches!
Although I'm a beauty blogger and avid fan of everything hair and beauty, I'm really bad at eye stuff..eye cream, treatments whatever, I have to be honest, I don't use it; so I guess I was using these as an 'eye patch virgin' but never the less, I was super impressed!
You get 2 sets in the pack, they feel really weird when you first put them on, like a second, cold and wet under eye skin (really selling these here aren't I!)...but once you get over the first few minutes you can completely relax with them.
You leave them on for half an hour, I sat with them for a little longer watching 24 hours in A&E and felt very relaxed indeed!
These patches claim to reduce dark circles, puffiness and restore moisture. I don't really suffer from dark circles too badly, but defiantly have puffy under eyes and normal/dry skin and I have to say these really did the trick.
I looked refreshed, felt refreshed, I would highly recommend these for a little under eye pamper and I will be repurchasing!

Although I was lucky enough to get these in January's glossy box, which has had a beautiful makeover, you can get these as ASOS for £6.00...Bargain!

What's your favourite eye pamper treat?

*Just to confirm I did not personally pay for this item*

I got this little beauty in Boots after spending over £15 at the Max Factor stand, along with a False Lash Effect Mascara and a nail varnish in Blue.
I'm usually rather sceptical when it comes to lip products that claim to be 'long wearing' and to be completley kiss, food and party proof...and this may be one of the only times that I have been proven wrong. I was lucky enough to get this lipfinity box set a couple of days ago, and oh boy do I love it!
It's rather different to a regular lipgloss/lipstick..you apply a sort of 'paint' to your lips, allow the colour to dry and then apply the top coat. If you're not a fan of a shiny look on your lips, I don't think you're going to get on well with this stuff, as before you apply the topcoat your lips feel gross and dry..but maybe that's just me!

I'm super, super happy with this product, I've tried and tested it for a few days now, drank with it, ate with it, went shopping and even had a few cheeky kisses here and there (purely for testing purposes of course!)...but I have to say, all in all, kudos to Max Factor for this one! If you want kiss proof lips with a pop of colour this christmas, look no further!

I got my Lipfinity in 'Essential Natural' it's a nice pretty pink, perfect for every occasion!

You can buy your own at Superdrug, Boots, Amazon and of course you can find out more at Max Factors online store

This year I've been loving using Barry M nail polish to get my fingers gorgeous and party ready! These are my christmas nail picks from Barry M, I've been loving layering on gold glitter on top of reds and plums. What I love about Barry M is that their nail effects polishes are filled to the brim with glitter so they can be worn on their own too, perfect for an accented fingernail!
You can find Barry M at their online shop, Superdrug and Boots.

I know I'm loving these polishes for christmas what are you loving this party season?

I've heard a lot online and on TV about the new Gariner Moisture Match range, and I must say I put it off for quite a while before buying one and trying it out for myself! I wouldn't say my skin is dull in particular but my face does have a tendency to lack the brightness that every girl wants! This lotion claims to give 24 hour hydration and calls itself a 'REVITALISING HYDRATION GEL' which I have to say I completely agree with. I used it for the second time on my face today prior to applying my makeup and once before bed last night, and I have to say it is fab, I adore it! It is more of a gel consistency than a lotion, however different to my expectations, its completely non greasy.

I used A LOT of product for this review in compared to what you really need-which is always a plus for me, and my piggy bank! The gel isn't tinted at all so it glides on perfectly when and where you want it and with it being ultra light and oil free, it absorbs really quickly, which again is something I look for in a moisturizer.

As you can see when I blended the gel into my skin, it really did 'wake it up' wheither or not the real effect of the gel can be seen on the picture I'm unsure but I can safetly say my skin feels so much softer and appears brighter, and I've only been using it for one day and I can really feel the difference on my skin. I really am falling in love with this new Garnier product..And if this review couldn't get anymore gleaming..this gel smells B-E-A-UUUUTIFUL..The product is enriched with Citrus extracts so it smells heavenly like a freshly  sweet peeled orange!

Bold bold bold and more bold!
It's all about the bold sunglasses this summer..when the sun finally comes out!
Find these cute little sets on
Topshop
Asos
and River Island

I am LOVING black and yellow for the spring/summer transition! Although its sadly not that warm at the moment in rainy old England as I find myself wearing my winter coat in mid-may, I can't handle my excitement for the summer weather and fashion much longer! Yellow has always been a favourite colour of mine so I'm super excited to seeing it as an upcoming trend alongside the classic little black number!
Here I've put together a little selection of some lovely little items I've found on one of my many online searches! From shops- Topshop
River Island
Miss Selfridge
and Boohoo.com
I think the colour yellow really pops its most against the classic black cami or boot and I can't wait to start buying!

I can't say I've ever tried any sort of makeup from accessorize before, and to be quite honest..I wasn't fully aware that they made lipstick! Anyway..

There were a really wide variety of  light dark and neutral shades to choose from but since I've been looking for a deep berry toned lipstick for a long time I went with Shade 6-PASSIONATE

In my opinion, the packaging that this lipstick comes in is so lovely, the label is the original accessorize logo with the cute little crown, but I think the cute floral outside wrapping is a cute little touch- really different against the typical black packaging of regular lipsticks! The one down side to the packaging however is the fact the whole tube is made from cardboard- which I can see getting bashed a bit in the depths of my makeup bag! But that really is the one critique that I have regarding the general appearance
 of the lipstick.

Before you all run and hide..the lipstick appears MUCH darker in the tube! I swatched the lipstick with the tester in the shop and loved it..got home opened it up, and really did get a shock! But once I had opened the lipstick and swatched it once more with a little bit of blending out, all was well again! I do adore this new lipstick..I think it's going to be my new 'go to' bold statement for my lips. It is quite a dark colour once on..so I would choose wisely regarding eye makeup and in particular, the tone and shimmers in face makeup. So far I have found this colour to work really well with a muted pink blush but I'm sure it would work to with a hint of golden bronzer to the cheeks!

I don't find this lipstick drying at all, but I do always add my coco butter lip balm before any lipstick or lip gloss application. I find with darker colours, this is a must to ensure that the colour is saturated on the lips, and doesn't dry up close to the edges or not appear at all in the center of the lip.

I personally think this colour will work better with lighter skin tones, as it really is a dark berry/plum purple colour.

I do prefer the colour once blended, and as you can see from the swatch the lipstick is blissfully smooth and a pleasure to wear on the lips! The formula really isn't drying at all and has a muted sheen finish.
On a whole I really do love this lipstick, and would highly recommend it for anyone who either loves a bold, dark lip colour or to anyone who's feeling a little daring and wants to try out a new look! This lipstick was £5.00 from accessorize itself, so a lovely little, affordable change to your everyday makeup look!

As its my first review I thought I would write about my absolute favorite perfume at the moment! Loverdose by DIESEL comes in this really cute purple toned bottle that can lay flat or on its side, so it's a perfect little display for your dressing table. It comes in a 30ml and a 50ml bottle at the price of £34.50 (30 ml) and £47.50 (50ml)- from the perfume shop. As far as I'm aware it's available at many other relaters and pretty widely available. I LOVE this fabulous fragrance for winter with its really warming notes of woody tones and vanilla. It has great lasting power and doesn't get that old musky smell that some perfumes do over time throughout the day. This really fruity fragrance is sweet, soft and spicy with the hint of orange that tips it over the top!

The Loverdose fragrance also comes in this cute handbag sized bottle in a set along with a fragrant shower gel and hand cream; which I shall be reviewing alongside this post once I've tried it all out!
