Maybe I'm super late to knowing this, but Asda do their own range of skin care!? I bought this on a whim as I went in looking for my tried and trusted Garnier Micellar water; however I spotted this and thought I'd give it a whirl as it was super cheap!

The first night I used this, I wasn't balled over. I'm so used to my Garnier water melting my makeup off in seconds, but this did need a little more work, and I found myself scrubbing my eyes to try and remove my mascara. It did a pretty good job of removing my face makeup, but I wasn't balled over.

I used it the second night however, and gave it more time and I was pretty impressed this time! I held the cotton pad over my eyes for about 10/15 seconds and discovered that it needs that time to really get into your makeup, and when I was a little more patient with it, it did a great job! Overall, it does what it says on the tin, for a really good price. It didn't string my eyes or my face at all, so I'd agree that it's gentle and great for sensitive skin. As for the multi vitamins, I'm not too sure the benefits and effects of those, but overall it's a nice product!

I think my favourite way to use this is going to be as a quick and easy cleanse in the morning before I put my makeup on, as so far that's been working great. I'm interested in trying more from Asda's own range if I can get my hands on some!

Let me know what you think if you've tried anything!

I love the body shop when it comes to anything really, but I seriously love their skin care. I've tried a few things from them before, but this is probably my favourite product that I've tried. As a makeup artist, when I'm working, I like a full coverage and I like my makeup to last a long time so it goes without saying that I wear a lot of products on my face, so I need a good scrub every now and again!

Off the bat, the packaging is lovely, I like a squeezing tube as for me personally, it reduces the mess I make. I love Soap and Glory's body exfoliators, but I hate how they come in a pot as they just get filled with so much water and you end up wasting product. So packaging for this is a 10/10!

I love this exoliator as its a physical one; by that I mean it has lovely little scrubby grains in it, which you can really feel getting all the gunk out of your pores. I usually use mine in the shower as I find all exfoliators in general can get a bit messy; but also because I use this on my chest and back too which I find works great for any chest/back blemishes too.

The smell is lovely, its gorgeous and fresh, nothing too offensive, it also creates a soapy lather when you're scrubbing away, which I love too! This is the only exfoliator that I've tried as of yet, that leaves my skin feeling SO soft after I've used it. Im very impatient I will admit, and I like to see and feel a product getting to work straight away, and this gives you instant results of squeaky clean, smooth feeling skin.

I highly recommend, give it a go!

It's all makeup I've been lusting over all week, particually base products. I'm always swatching the Illamasqua Naked Rose blush at work, and I've cracked and its going to be a pay day buy! I'm also lusting over my beloved UD setting spray, I'm gonna bring this little gem back into my life when I'm over in Barcelona! I've heard great things about the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm, it's super cheap too!

I've always lusted over homeware, but ever since our house has had a large uphaul and update, I decided to do my room too! I'm planning on doing a little post featuring a few new things I got for my room and some photos! I'm super happy with it; however I SO wish I had listened to my mum and waited for the decorator to paint my room too as my god, trying to cover up a mixture of baby pink and deep pink was not a task I want to endure again! In my hunt for some things to pop into my new room, I had a look round my local Asda Home. I was so impressed! I would never really think to look in Asda for homeware, but theres some really good, inexpensive things to find in there! It's pretty eclectic too, which is really my sort of thing! Anyway...here's a few little bits I would love to have laying around, and they are all nice and cheap too!

Pineapple: Etsy
Pot Plants: Ikea
Cushion and Candles: Primark
Clock, Lavender and Skull: Asda Home.

I've had a real lust over lots of makeup this week, I can just never seem to have enough! I recently discovered Jeffree Star on youtube, I'm probably extremely late to the bandwagon! But I fell in love, he is hilarious! I know loads of people rave about his liquid lipsticks so I'm certainly going to have to get a few for myself to give them a go.
I've recently re-decorated my room, I now have a lovely little vanity; which is crying out for some muji storage!
Illamasqua's matte veil is also on my list. I'm really on the hunt for a good primer and this one seems to have some pretty good reviews. I tried it at work and I really like the texture of it. I want something matte, but something not too heavy. I'll be sure to make one too if I get one!

Products mentioned:
Muji Acrylic Storage
Origins Clear Improvement Mask
Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette
Jeffree Star Velour Lipsticks
Mary-Lou Manizer, The Balm
Illamasqua Matte Veil
